Berga graduated from the University of Saskatchewan and was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1995. She practiced in Northeastern BC until October 2002. In November 2002, she moved to Lethbridge to join Torry Lewis Abells LLP. She was admitted to the Alberta Bar in January 2003 and became a partner with Torry Lewis Abells LLP in 2008. Berga joined North & Company LLP after Torry Lewis Abells LLP merged with the Firm in November 2024.

Berga is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and a past member of the Law Society of British Columbia and practices in both provinces. Since coming to Lethbridge, Berga has been an active member and current President of the Rotary Club of Lethbridge Sunrise. She has participated in the Club’s Los Amigos Project since it began and in the Lethbridge Rotary Dragonboat Festival as a volunteer and a paddler. The Lethbridge and District YWCA recognized Berga for her involvement in the community and honoured her with a 2012 Women of Distinction Award.

Berga practices in all areas of litigation and maintains an active solicitor’s practice.

Berga works from the Chancery Court Office in downtown Lethbridge.
