Craig provides his clients with practical and strategic advice throughout their business' life cycle. He helps clients in the areas of corporate structure and governance, shareholder agreements, commercial loans, business purchase and sale transactions, tax and corporate restructurings and estate and business succession planning. Craig's experience also includes non-profit organizations, shareholder disputes, tax disputes, debt recovery, security enforcement and bankruptcy and insolvency. Early in his career, Craig was counsel to the Canada Revenue Agency and advised clients on various matters including audits, tax debts, Crown priorities, directors liability and non-arm's length assessments.
Craig shares his experience and knowledge by presenting numerous topics in his practice areas to clients, accountants, trustees in bankruptcy, other lawyers, and the public. He has also chaired a Legal Education Society of Alberta (LESA) seminar on bankruptcy and insolvency and updated LESA's precedent forms of foreclosures.
When Craig is not attending ringette practices and games, he enjoys spending time with his family in Southern Alberta and British Columbia: camping, hiking, biking and skiing.
Craig works from the Chancery Court office in downtown Lethbridge.
