Heather Donison grew up in Lethbridge, Alberta and attended the University of Lethbridge where she completed her Bachelor of Education with a major in Physical Education. After teaching in Fort Macleod for four years Heather decided to change career directions and attended the University of Alberta where she completed her Bachelor of Laws. Heather’s main area of practice is Personal Injury where she is able to utilize her undergraduate degree, as well as her knowledge and interest in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and the human body in general. As a Personal Injury lawyer, Heather enjoys being able to help people whose lives have been impacted significantly at no fault of their own. Heather goes beyond her work with the firm through her involvement as the Lethbridge and area Judicial District Representative for the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association (ACTLA) and initiatives related to issues of fairness for injured persons as it relates to the Minor Injury Regulations through her membership. In her 25 plus years with North & Company, Heather has enjoyed the positive team environment that fosters contribution by all.
Outside of the firm Heather enjoys spending time with her family. Heather has always had a passion for sports. With the passage of time, her focus has changed from competitive volleyball, curling, and slowpitch to golf – a new challenge and a new passion. When given the opportunity though, Heather loves spending time relaxing on a beach.
