Kendall obtained her BA in Psychology at Mount Royal University in 2012 and her JD at the University of Calgary in 2018 before articling with North & Company in our Pincher Creek branch. Prior to law school, she worked as a legal assistant for the in-house counsel of a national transportation company. This exposure to law and policy led her to law school and a particular interest in human rights, employment, and constitutional issues.
During law school, Kendall volunteered with Student Legal Assistance and the Pro Bono Students Canada (Human Rights project) and gained practical experience assisting low-income clients with legal issues and navigating dispute resolutions. As part of her seminar course in Environment Impact Assessment law, she contributed to a joint submission to the House of Commons Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development (Bill C-69), regarding changes to the federal Environmental Impact Assessment process and in particular proposed changes to the public participation requirement of impact assessments.
As an associate with North & Company, attending our Claresholm and Vulcan branches, Kendall maintains a general practice of commercial and residential real estate, estate planning and administration, family law, civil litigation, and residential tenancy law. She enjoys meeting her clients and getting to know them, so that she can help guide them to a solution that works for them.
Kendall and her partner Nick live in Claresholm with their rescue dogs Harley and Rory. She currently serves as Secretary for the Claresholm & District Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Claresholm Public Library Board. She enjoys camping, bad Netflix reality shows, and cross stitching.
Kendall works from the branch offices in Claresholm (Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday) and Vulcan (Thursday).
