Luke Ratzlaff

Luke began his legal career at a boutique litigation firm in Calgary, where he focused on complex corporate litigation and debt collection. With ties to both Crowsnest Pass and Calgary, he practiced in both regions before establishing his own law firm, Ratzlaff Danielson. In 2023 Luke moved his practice to North & Company LLP.

Today, Luke’s practice centres on commercial and residential real estate, business and corporate transactions, estate planning and administration, and fintech law . He advises entrepreneurs, business owners, and individuals on regulatory compliance, incorporations, transactions, and succession planning. His growing fintech practice includes assisting startups and established companies with structuring, compliance with Canadian financial regulations, and building partnerships with industry banks and payment providers.

Outside the office, Luke is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys running, hiking, mountain biking, and photography. A former varsity track and field athlete with numerous provincial and national medals, he is currently training for half-marathons.
