Wayne Petersen grew up on a farm outside of Wrentham Alberta and later moved to Lethbridge where he finished high school. Wayne remained in Lethbridge where he completed his B.A. at the University of Lethbridge but then moved out to Kingston, Ontario where he received his Bachelor of Laws from Queen’s University. Wayne enjoys the challenging and interesting areas of municipal and employment law while also practicing in the areas of real estate, estate planning and administration, and business law. North & Company is very involved in communities all across southern Alberta and Wayne has always been very proud and involved with that aspect of the company.

Outside of the firm Wayne is quite a golfer and has even been recognized in the Lethbridge Sports Hall of Fame for all of his volunteer work with amateur golf at the local, provincial, national, and international levels. Wayne also brings his athletic ability to our North & Company curling team each year. When Wayne is not playing or watching sports he and his wife are usually cruising all over Canada and the United States on their Harley Davidson.
